A Wheelchair-Accessible Vehicle for a Family from the Rhine Valley

Over the past months, we had the privilege of supporting a very special fundraising initiative together with a group of highly committed supporters. Thanks to this collective effort, a wheelchair-accessible vehicle could be purchased for a family from the Rhine Valley whom we have supported for many years.

The family’s daughter has been diagnosed with a brain tumor and is experiencing increasing autism, which places enormous challenges on the family. As a result, using public transportation is not possible for them.

The new wheelchair-accessible vehicle now allows the family to attend all necessary medical appointments and therapy sessions.

What makes this fundraising effort particularly special is the strong sense of solidarity behind it. Many institutions came together, contributed, and demonstrated how much can be achieved when a community takes responsibility for one another.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this project possible.
